I get inquires all the time for 6 month photos for babies. I say these are 6 month photos, but really I encourage all parents to wait till their baby is closer to 7 months. I do this because I want your baby to be a strong sturdy sitter before I take these milestone photos! At 6 months, it can often be…well….a wobbly session. I have to have parents spotting their babies on the side, and it’s just harder to get some really creative and interesting shots! So 7 months is really where it’s at for these sessions! The milestone that I love before 7 months is 4 months! At 4 months I can take some really adorable photos of babies expressions and I have some soft surfaces to lay baby down on. So a great format for a first year package would be newborn, 4 months, 7 months, and 1 year! This session of baby Wren was actually at 9 months and it was soooooo good!
In this milestone session, baby was 7 months old and and an absolute ham in front of the camera. This was actually my first session in my new Cumming, GA studio!! I haven’t posted pictures of the studio yet because I wanted to get things settled first, but i’m so close to showing that off with you guys! In this space i’ll be taking both natural light photos using the room and my studio couch as a backdrop, and then studio lights with the seamless backdrop like you see here. More versatility makes me happy!
