This family session will be featured in the upcoming issue of Parish Neighbors of Cumming. This family has a beautiful story of trials, loss, suffering, overcoming, and most of all, FAITH. They are also a testament to the power of prayer and community support. Stacie was diagnosed with brain cancer 10 years ago when she was pregnant with her son John Christian. I remember 10 years ago being told about a young mom named Stacie who was pregnant and needed to undergo chemo. I was very impacted and the whole community of Pinecrest Academy in Cumming were praying for her. I did pray for her, and I never did hear a follow up. I wondered what might have unfolded as I didn’t know her at the time. She did lose her son, but she went on to be completely healed of the cancer and had a daughter after that. Flash forward to now and I get a call asking to photograph this family, I couldn’t believe it! It was such an honor to capture this family! It’s be a long time since they’ve had family photos taken and i’de say it was worth it! We were able to start our session just in time to catch the sunset which turned out beautiful! Enjoy!
